Between 1492 and 1750, the Atlantic world experienced social and economic changes as a result of a new connection between Western Europe, Africa and the Americas. Some of the social change that occurred between the Americas and Africans put Indians and Africans at the bottom of their social structure and created a new class like the Mixed Blood Class. These are all for the advantage of the Spaniard. The economic transformation that was done was the creation of sugar plantations and gold mines and created brutal labor for African slaves and American Indians.
In 1492, Christopher Columbus in Spain discovered "the new world" in Europe. This discovery is not only "discovered" but also a disastrous thing for Africans. It marks the beginning of triangular trade between Africa, Europe and the New World. European slave ships, primarily Britain and France, bring Africans to the new world. They were taken to the West Indies to supplement the local Indians who were originally destroyed by Spanish conquistadors. Especially since the 17th century, slave trade has grown from trickle to flood.
Slavery took place in the world until Europe started slave trade in the Middle East and Africa for centuries. Just as Columbus discovered the New World in 1492, they found a land that can grow a lot of sugar. To do this, they need a lot of labor. Unfortunately, in order to accomplish this, they need to develop another land, but this time they exploited people in Africa because they did not use the resources of the land. Europeans are very destructive people. Their looting effect has been felt only in one part of the world, and the whole world feels it. The motive for African slaves is the cultivation of crops.
Many people went to the New World to find the land and wealth, after Columbus told the new world news to Europe. The Spanish conquistadors first traveled the new world. Their names come from conquerors and explorers. They mainly look for gold and treasure. Cortes was one of the first conquerors. He is responsible for conquering the Aztec empire and claims that Mexico is Spain. In 1519, he went on a boat from Cuba to the Yucatan Peninsula. So he heard about the rich empire of Aztecs. In search of treasure, Cortez visited Tenectite in the capital of Azteca. Then he conquered Aztec and began killing Aztec emperor Montezuma.
