Impact of welfare reform on women and children The main problem faced by poor women and children after employment of welfare reform is that these families can not receive adequate medical care. Women and children facing this problem are mainly from children who are not married. By eliminating these benefits it is believed that problems such as crime are solved, young blacks do not work and feel a sense of accomplishment, and the linkage of community relations also worsens. To solve this problem, I proposed two different alternative policies. It is to coordinate the latest welfare reform policies and to coordinate for families, especially women and children.
Welfare reform or distortion of welfare? Historically, most of the so-called "welfare reform" regulation has made life more difficult for poor children and their families. The latest welfare change plan "Temporary aid for poor households" (TANF) P. L. 104-193 is the latest attempt to reform welfare. It imposes a two-year deadline on poor families. Two years later, many poor families (primarily single mothers) have lost their safety nets and they were declared that there is no homeless and / or diet therapy in the United States.
Welfare reform is generally described as an attempt by the government to change the national social welfare policy. The main purpose of these reforms is to reduce the number of individuals and families who rely on government aid and to support the efforts of recipients to achieve self-sufficiency. It is widely believed that the first welfare plan developed to cope with the economic situation the country faces during the Great Depression is actually counterproductive for the purpose of welfare aid. Many people believe that these outdated welfare programs not only expand poverty but also encourage people to rely on the government to provide financial support and services. Since the welfare of the United States can not fully meet the needs of each low income or poor individual or family, it is necessary to review existing welfare plans.
In 1996, the "welfare reform law" was passed by law, state leaders promised to end the benefits that existed since its inception. A new era of welfare and regulation has come, and the welfare reform law is a necessary catalyst to carry out these very necessary reforms. One of the reforms based on this bill is the "welfare work" initiative. This requires work in exchange for limited time financial assistance. Temporary aid to TANF recipients or poor families is required to work at least 20 hours per week and the reform rules list the 12 approved activities accepted to fulfill this requirement. According to the report, three years after the reform was enacted, millions of Americans have changed from dependence on welfare to self-sufficiency. In addition, government agencies are reporting a decrease in the number of social welfare incidents
