Dining halls and food services play an important role in nurturing students. It's not just about hiring employees and students, but rather an integral part of community college retention strategies. These student services at Yukata College have a functional child development center and use the cafeteria for children's snacks and lunch. These two entities alone will help keep Yuba College's myriad students. Closing the cafeteria may lower the student's success rate. A convenient and attractive university cafeteria is a factor of the success of community college students. The main membership retention strategy is to create multiple areas for students to stay within the university and use available support services. In some academic research, cafes and food service programs are considered one of the most powerful retention strategies for community college students. Or, as senior teachers recently commented, "If you leave campus to get food, they will not often study or return to class."
