A comprehensive leadership system links the current KARLEE operational process with the direction of future development. The Senior Management (SEL) team focuses on identifying and clarifying long-term strategic issues and opportunities, including future customer needs. The KARLEE Steering Committee consists of seven senior management positions and team leaders of divisions and refines SEL's five-year plan and future performance targets to annual business goals and operational goals. Decisions are based on annual survey results and customer ratings based on nearly daily customer feedback and similarly detailed assessment of KARLEE's performance, employees, and operational capabilities.

Based in Garland, Texas, KARLEE is a contract manufacturer of precision sheet metal and machined parts for customers in the telecommunications, semiconductor and medical equipment industries. Since 1974, as a garage-based single machine workshop, the company has grown into a one-stop manufacturing service provider. The scope of the work extends from initial design and prototyping to painting and assembly, wiring and integration of power components. In fiscal 2000, sales of women-owned business was approximately 80 million dollars, continuing sales for six years, the average annual growth rate exceeded 25%. Four major customers account for approximately 80% of sales. KARLEE's business strategy is to build long-term relationships with companies that are global leaders in expanding markets.
