The annual meeting of Cumann Lucht Capaillini Chonamara was held at Gullanes Hotel yesterday (Sunday the 23rd).

The Connemara Pony Breeders Association was founded in 1923 to ensure that "Connemara Pony Protection and Improvement" is from Ireland. The association holds a pony show every year and has been doing this since the beginning. The annual show enables the largest Connemara pony to be assembled all over the world and to be used to buy and sell Connemara pony from Ireland and abroad. The original breed specification was developed by the Connemara Pony Breeders Association in Ireland and was used by the Connemara Pony British Association in the UK. Breeders, owners and producers all over the world are enjoying the unique hospitality and enthusiasm for Connemara, the competition course, every business, and Irish famous horses.
