Weapons of Word War I

Chemical weapons are the use of chemicals to hurt, destroy, or kill enemy combatants. For the first time during World War I, the catastrophic impact of a wide range of chemical warfare was considered inhumane by international consensus, after which chemicals were prohibited. Modern warriors tend to ignore old tactics, but the threat of chemicals on the battlefield can not be totally defeated by today's soldiers.

The First World War was often considered the first true "modern war" and there was a conflict between developed countries equipped with modern weapons. The emergence of powerful weapons such as cannons, machine guns, aircraft, and the decline of the 19th century weapons such as saber and bayonet saw. 1 The most effective weapon used in World War I was a machine gun. It is not a new weapon, but this war has forced us to further develop weapons. The first high speed shooting gun was invented by a man named Gatlin in 1862. This fast shooting weapon is called a gatling gun. The first Gatling gun was used in the American Civil War. These guns are cannonballs, but relying on the operator's hand to fire bullets. 2 In 1884, Hiram Maxim invented the first machine gun. This weapon will start shooting the next bullet using the recoil of the bullet. Next is the chain reaction of many shots. This process eliminates the need for operators to make ammunition. Hiram Maxim brought his invention to British military leaders. Unfortunately, for the UK, military strength does not think that we need to use such weapons. They do not even think that this weapon has places in the war.

Perhaps the most important technical progress during the First World War was improving the machine gun, which was originally a weapon developed by Hiram Maxim in the United States. The German army is aware of its military potential, and in 1914 a number of weapons became available. They also developed air-cooled machine guns for aircraft and improved machine guns used on the ground, making them lighter and easier to move. The possibility of this weapon was proved in the battlefield of Somme, where German machine guns killed or injured nearly 60,000 British soldiers in just one day in July 1916.
