Wealth and Happiness in Sense and Sensibility, by Jane Austen

In Jane Austen 's novel "Sense and Sensibility", the Dashwood family left much less money after his father' s death. When their cousin brought them, they moved to their new house and started a new life. In the meantime, money and social position are the most important ones. Most marriages have nothing to do with love, but they are related to the acquisition of property, money, or grade. That is why the two sisters of Dashwood, Eleanor and Marianna, answered the question "What is wealth and the magnitude of happiness?" (122).

There is a complicated relationship between emotion and sensibility. By reading this novelist, the reader will find the sense or sensitivity of Austin on the surface.
