This article highlights and evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of the three major consulting theories discussed in this semester. The three methods being discussed are psychodynamics, cognitive behavior, and humanities. The theory of psychodynamics originated from Sigmund Freud (doctor and philosopher) (1856-1939) founded in the 20th century. Freud developed his ideas in the work of a psychiatrist in Vienna and gathered patient information such as feelings, ideas, childhood experience and so on.
