Public elementary and junior high schools in Jacksonville and Duval County are operated by Duval County Public School. In the 2009-2010 academic year, the school district registered 123,000 students. We manage 172 schools, including 103 elementary schools, 25 junior high schools, 19 high schools, 3 K-8 schools, 1 6-12 school, and 13 charter schools and juvenile justice schools. For 2012 to 2013 grades, Fairfax County is the ninth eleventh college district. The county is comprised of nine districts, daily operations of eight school clusters and all county schools, transportation, facility management, and general support expenses are provided. Mr. McKay said the county is disadvantageous as it can not launch a comprehensive kindergarten program. Mr. McKay said he lost teachers to neighboring areas in Virginia, Maryland, and DC with higher wages.

Public primary and secondary education is managed by Hillsborough County Public Science, which is officially known as the Hillsborough County School School District (SDHC). It is named the eighth college district in the United States, and there are about 189,469 students. SDHC has 208 schools, 133 primary schools, 42 middle schools, 27 high schools, 2 K-8 and 4 career centers. There are 73 schools in this area, including charter flights, ESE and alternative schools. 12 out of 27 high schools at SDHC have been selected as the best of the best high schools in the United States.

Primary and secondary education in Saint Augustine is supervised by the Saint John County School District. Currently there is no county-level high school in Saint Augustine city, but Saint Augustine High School, Pedro Menendez High School and St. John's Industrial High School are nearby. The Florida Hearing Impaired School for the Blind was founded in the city in 1885 and is a national boarding school for hearing impaired and blind schools. The Saint Augustine Catholic Diocese runs the oldest Catholic high school in St. Joseph College in Florida.
