There is no doubt that human activities have a major influence on our environment. These environmental impacts include the depletion of our natural resources, air and water pollution, climate change, habitat destruction, loss of biodiversity, and so on. Because of these growing concerns, we need to learn ways to live in a sustainable way. Sustainable living will enable us to protect our limited resources more intelligently to provide these resources for future generations (Withgott & Brennan, 2011, Chapter 1). More and more people are aware of our environmental impact, but there are still people who choose not to ignore scientific evidence or to fully understand the outcome.

Our way of living must reflect the intangible nature of God. We need to learn to comply with basic principles or natural laws that govern healthy natural ecology and healthy society. Indeed, this advice on sustainability is fully compliant with the most basic principles and persistent philosophy of all major religions. What we have to do for others, including future generations. If we belong to their generation, they are guardians of the earth today. We have to deal with the earth as we let our descendants treat the earth. We must transcend the economic interests of individuals and transcend the interests of others; we must "live with the earth".

Indigenous people basically think that they are well-balanced. We believe that all social and cultural practices must comply with the laws of nature in order to be sustainable.
