We Must Keep Our Own Identity

This world contains all kinds of people. People have different lifestyles, different traditions, and different languages. Many of these people gather in the United States to connect their culture and tradition and to shape their identity. In this crucible we say that the United States should expect that these people absorb in obedience or whether they can continue to live in a multicultural society. Whether they should leave their culture or keep it so that it can be handed over to children and grandchildren.

Identity is not something we should teach or impose to anyone. We need to reach an agreement with ourselves in our way. Self-discovery is a journey that we have to carry on alone. My 5th grade teacher is enthusiastic about identity politics, not only taught its history but also designed a curriculum that encourages students to think about identity. For the first time, my daughter knew that she belonged to a suppressed minority and they were ready for the next repression. That year, the conversation with a friend in her house was mainly an ethnic topic. She calls herself a "whipper" (Caucasian Asian) and, with the encouragement of the school, formed a whasian support group at school.

I have taught to me during the last 5 months: To do our best to really use our allies to fight against racial discrimination and repression, we must understand our learning Hmm. Each of us, one each of us, defines our identity for other lives and is constantly reconfirming. From the moment we were born to the moment we died, we also experienced the world at the same time and tried to understand where we are. People who claim to be friends or allies, oppose competitors or opponents as enemies
