VNA Hospice is proud to be part of We Honor Veterans, a project developed by the National Hospice Palliative Care Organization and the Veterans Affairs Department to satisfy the veteran's unique needs in hospice care. As a partner of We Honor Veterans, VNA Hospice provides ongoing veteran-centered education for employees and volunteers to help improve the medical services offered to local veterans. Veterans are also honored through a special pinning ceremony to express gratitude to the client.
By recognizing the inherent needs of veterans faced with a disease limiting life in our country, VNAs will be able to accompany veterans and their families toward a more peaceful outcome I can do it. If there is a specific need related to veterans' military service, combat experience, or other traumatic events, the VNA will find tools to help them take care of them.

In addition to winning the annual nationwide DEYTA quality honor award, it has recently been recertified by the Joint Committee. Samaritans have earned the highest achievement of the National Hospice Care Veterans Program, which is the initiative of the National Hospice Care Palliative Care Organization and Veterans Affairs Bureau.
What is honor flying respecting veterans? This is a wonderful organization commemorating Veterans of World War II and Korean War. Veterans visited Washington DC and saw their monuments all day. Honor Flight is one of the most extensive organizations specializing in veterans. Honorable flight
