You may not notice that the media not only has a great impact on people's perception of themselves and the surrounding people but also reflects and decides the culture trends and lifestyles.
Introduction Everyone, good morning. Thank you for inviting me to discuss what I really like, that is Australian stereotypes in Australian contemporary literature. In today's society, contemporary literature encourages young readers to transcend Australian stereotypes. However, Australian contemporary literature still has Australian stereotypes. I chose Australian stereotypes and chose four contemporary Australian texts to strengthen it.
The novel "Looking for Alibrandi" is a realistic depiction of the lives of young people in modern Australia. Author Melina Marchetta depicts the role of her youngster in a way to interact with young people in modern Australia. In this critical reaction, it explores young people 's different relationships, friendships, love relationships, and family expectations in this novel.
Carlos Tsiolkas was a Greek-Australian writer and wrote "Slap" later adopted for the TV series. This novel integrates Caucasian, Greek, Indian, and Indigenous Australians into a naturally friendship community, proving the true multicultural society of Australia. As he has the ability to write and express himself from experience, he helped to accurately express the emotions of these nationals living in Australia.
In order to introduce and display the Australian literature in Japan, a project called "Contemporary Contemporary Contemporary Literature Series Masterpiece" was created by Hyundai University Publisher in 2012. This program aims to raise awareness of modern Australians with the support of the Japan-Australia Foundation. I will create a literature by translating and publishing Australian novels in Japan. This collection not only demonstrates the excellence of Australian literature but also shows "modern Australia" and shares its cultural and social diversity with Japanese audiences.
