Watching But Not Reading: Limitations of First-Person Narrative in Film Adaptations of Jane Eyre

The literature on movie adaptation often has bad reputation. As Brian McFarlane says "It's not on the book ...", the audience is more likely to read another, or better book about that book. Adaptation of the movie rather than its own commentary (McFarlane 6). It is not possible to judge such a movie as a movie in its own way, and viewers usually do not seek adaptations inspired by novels, but rather present the original faithfully in the form of a movie.

We started with Bronte's Jane Eyre and saw modern movie adaptation - 2011 adaptation of curry Fuyong - Mr. Rochester and Mia Waskikovska starring Michael Fassbinder as Jane Eyre. . Because of his singular point of the same name, Jane Air (fiction) is often seen as a time by critics and modern readers. Jane repeatedly states himself as "simple", "small", "squat", but it is contradictory, arrogant and intensely independent. This novel reveals through her explanation of Jane that Bronte's relationship between women and gender is not the world today. Jane's famous "feminine feel like a man" statement reveals the dual criteria which is also being scrutinized in the recent US presidential election campaign, and my students talk about these similarities in our discussion I commented on the points.

Recent film deduction by Jane Ey, starring Mia Wasikowska, Judy Dench, Michael Fassbinder, reminds me that Jane Eyre is really a modern story from the perspective of human mind, jealousy and materialism. When I saw this movie, I was shocked by the similarities between Jane 's many sufferings and the problems of the 21st century, especially those that affected young women. As a young girl, Jane Air takes care of an orphan and her aunt Salado, but her aunt abuses her wisely but unattractive child. My aunt Saradead even tried to cut Jane from her heritage, even saying that Jane was dying to avoid giving up money. Compared with competitors' mothers, this is a well-known situation and they are the way they position children today.
