This is a hot day. You buy a bottle of your favorite soft drink and then swallow sweet, fuzzy liquid. Then you poured the bottle to the nearest trash box and it will work
But will you touch a plastic bottle after throwing it away? Is this the end of the trip or is it a new beginning?
The video published by Ted - Ed on Earth Day explains what happened to the plastic you discarded.
They take a long time - it will take up to 1000 years to collapse. Over time, it breaks down into small fragments called microplastic which has proved to be extremely dangerous to the environment.
Marine animals can eat plastic pieces, mistake them for food, and eventually even enter our food chain.
Many times, plastics falling into our bodies may be trapped in one of the five plastic filled rotors in the world ocean where the ocean currents capture millions of debris.
In most cases, spent plastic products are thrown away from all other garbage. Many people may not know that plastic boxes such as delivery boxes, plastic bags, and bottles can be reused or recycled.
Emma Bryce https://youtu.be/ _ 6xlNyWPpB 8 This video explains the poison that occurs when plastic is thrown into a landfill and rainwater penetrates the material. Chemical leachate Another fate of plastic is ultimately one of five plastic sheets collected in several seas of the world. Instructor is a scientist's artist - Dianna Cohen http://theatln.tc/2 giBcW5 Dianna Cohen is an artist who recognizes the dangers of plastics in the ocean, especially the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. She helped to start Plastic Pollution Alliance to help stop the use of disposable plastics
The big problem is disposable plastic. It is a water bottle, a food container, a plastic bag, a cutlery and all the plastics you used (or not used at all), then discarded. Unfortunately, most of the plastic can be recycled, but unfortunately they will eventually burn or be thrown into the landfill or simply be thrown into the ocean. Even more sadly, most of the disposable plastics we are using are completely unnecessary. All unnecessary waste from half-drunk bottles will be stopped. I am still having big problems in Lebanon, and people are still paying for still water almost anywhere. Of course this is because we can not drink tap water absolutely. This means that the company still has to pay in order to get the water suitable for drinking. Therefore, it is a wonderful organization that wants to provide water free, and wants to accept this additional cost without paying additional cost to the customer.
Let's consider these statistics. Americans buy 50 million plastic bottles a year and we discard plastic products four times on the earth every year. When we throw them out, we know that these items do not really "disappear". According to the Center for Biodiversity, a large amount of plastic is floating in the ocean of the world, and it is estimated that more than half of turtles, seabirds and marine mammals are taking plastics. In California alone, 5 billion plastic caps are in PET bottles every year. Plastic hats endanger the wildlife that is scattered in the streets, parks, inland waterways, beaches and the ocean and is mistaken for food. California Council Act No. 319 requires that all disposable plastic bottles sold in California be installed in bottles. By connecting the cap to the bottle, you can recycle the cap with the bottle, not cutting costs and risking wildlife and the environment.
