War Poems Comparison

"Poeties are full of thought, tension, and emotions, which are all composed of delicate and difficult words." The power of this poem depends on the weakness depicted by the character of the poet. There is no one who conquered the hearts of people with smooth power. Therefore, if the emotional language is used properly it will be a very effective weapon.

There were many wars in the comparison of poetry. Most people understand the facts through paper, movies, books and poetry, but I am comparing two similar poems with different meanings. Wilfred Owen wrote Sir Alfred Tennyson who wrote "Dulce et Decorum est" or "The Ride of Light". They all have war themes. Sir Alfred Dinson is a parent war and I believe it is a good thing to die for your country. His poetry was written in Crimean War (1854-56) to celebrate the fight of Balaklava and wrote on 10th April 1864 ten years later.

These two poems, "Dulce et decorum est" and "Who for the game?" Are very different poems of war. They are all about World War I, but they all have different uses. These poems have similar aspects, but there are also big differences. One similarity between the two verses is that they all have titles that express positive emotions about war. But the title is used in a different way; "Who is the game?" This is an extended metaphor as it is repeated again in the poem. War is compared with a kind of euphemism and a game which is a metaphor.

Wilfred Owen tried to present the pain of war to the reader's heart. The use of techniques in his three reference verses shows Owen's hatred and hatred of war. Some of them are written as metaphor or comparison to present a clear image. They also clearly conveyed to the reader the idea that war is irrational, obscene, and torture. Wilfred Owen expresses his strong anti-war awareness using a strong image in poetry
