Do you want to focus on adventure and discover the mystery of the sea? Marine biology may be right for you - this is the first step regardless of your age

The most common questions I got from enthusiastic marine biologists are the order of "Where should I start?", "Which school / university should I go to" and "Which major university will you choose?" is. "What kind of course - should I take it?" I solved these problems by explaining what all marine biologists (and general scientists) think they should do first. Again, if you want to make a living from marine biology (or something else), I think that you should not disturb your age. The scientist I know is the most efficient in my life. Some success!

In addition to what I said in the video, I encourage people interested in science to contact local nearby universities or local scientists at universities near you. Even if you live in an unknown place, you can use e-mail to contact scientists. Do not forget to do your homework before contacting someone - make sure you understand backgrounds and problems, and / or you are already looking for answers (Google is a good starting point ). In addition, I will set up a Q & A section at http://SciAll.org to provide questions about the science professional occupation. Please expect it.

As I mentioned in the video, this is 2 links to the free listserv (you can register for e-mail every day - I am looking for volunteers in progress) at all levels Excellent resources for internship to acquire research skills and experience for people in education / experience (K - 12, undergraduate, graduate, continuing education etc):

Finally, I would like to emphasize that the experience of HANDS-ON is irreplaceable. These experiences will be your most effective and effective guide for deciding which topics of marine biology are enough to excite you (college / university, graduate school or above go to!)

After completing this, I am going to do a short survey (This is what I made a lot of videos and told me the true cutting-edge science behind the behavior and adventure of my career as a marine biologist I will help you show!

You might want to really become a marine biologist! If so, you will be a scientist majoring in marine biology. If you really want to do this, you will always see everything there: stars, creeping creeps in your backyard, you will like props. Please take the thing home and watch it! Ask your parents what the danger is, but encourage them to see what you have found. If you want to be a marine biologist you will have to study science. Ask your teacher about biology related projects. Do not think that you only need to understand biology. Marine organisms are made of chemicals, they are physical things like plastic toys and wooden chairs. They have strength and chemistry. If you are a barnacle on a rock, you must be strong. If you are a seaweed, you must be flexible

This is a difficult question to answer than you think! Marine biology is a field of knowledge related to marine organisms. But what is a marine biologist? For many people, this means becoming a dolphin trainer, but for the others it means managing marine wildlife reserves. Marine biologists are those who research, observe, protect, and manage marine organisms in any way, whether microorganisms, plants or animals. If you study marine fish populations, you are a marine biologist. If you manage a marine wildlife sanctuary where you focus on marine protection, you are also a marine biologist. If you have a notebook or computer that records information about marine organisms, you know that you are a marine biologist. However, if you are collecting sponges and looking for bioactive drugs you may be a marine biologist.
