Avery Heights is a community sanatorium in the park in the city of Hartford. I have been volunteering for two years and I go to this wonderful place almost every day. When they were 12, they were assigned work, usually reflecting the place of volunteer working hours. Elderly people are highly respected. They live in an old house. They are treated with the highest priority until they are freed. With 12 ceremonies, Jonas was chosen as the recipient of the next memory. The elders said that this option is rare. She said that Jonas presented four qualities that the beneficiary must have. They are wisdom, honesty, courage and wisdom. Jonas' s job will separate him from other citizens. Only one recipient at a time. When his training is completed, unlike other work in society, he has to work alone. He was trained by the recipient of the last memory, and he is now The Giver. Jonas' training requires acceptance of all past memories.
