Currently I am volunteering to be a group helper by matching Befriendees with supporting Befrienders by supporting adults with learning disabilities through social activities. As an organization's volunteer, I provided their service participants the opportunity to participate fully and satisfactorily in the community. I will also help raise my awareness of issues affecting adults involved in learning difficulties in communities. I participated in the collection and submission of the petition to the Scottish Parliament and did a lot of work by asking Befriending to provide core funds.
