Voices: Should students be able to grade their teachers?

As the number of students 'learning decreases and the number of teacher' s learning decreases, a common discussion will reoccur. Students should be able to evaluate their teachers.

Through students who have the ability to evaluate teachers, teachers can look at their progress and make their lessons more enjoyable. The more students participate in the lesson, the better the results will be. Teachers need to create a learning environment for students, they should know whether they are doing well or not

Yes, some children may be too immature to evaluate teachers, but children may be better at teaching in the class than adult officers. Teachers need to know how teachers look at their style. If you are sleeping over half of the classes, perhaps this is a sign that the course is boring. In addition, letting students evaluate teachers provides a better learning environment for children, teachers can teach in a way that children can understand.

The only way that this concept does not evolve into school system is when children do not seriously consider teachers. Because I do not have classes, some students may be biased against their teachers and give bad results to them. Other people may not care about this concept at all. In this case, we need to compromise. Students can provide feedback instead of evaluating teachers. Feedback helps teachers improve their way, become better teachers, and develop different teaching methods. Feedback can also make teachers and students more useful on the same page.

The more the teacher and students are on the same page, the better the classroom environment. The course can be changed from a sleeping place to a place for active discussion and lecture.

Because this is not their role, students should not evaluate teachers. The teacher is an expert who has been evaluated as passing the grades at the school and the certification exam. On the other hand, students need to prove what they have learned.

In most of today's public schools, there are many problems such as lack of funds, overcrowding classrooms, students can not read at the expected grade level. But the topic I care most about is the quality of teachers. Today's new teachers are overwhelmed by overflowing classrooms and uncontrollable students who tend to quit or give up. My school is not the worst school, but there are many things to do about the quality of teachers. I am proud to be able to attend Skyline High School in Oakland, California. Our school district is the largest graduation class in the previous academic year, there are opportunities for double enrollment, you can acquire the credits of the university. But I hope that not all roses but they can hear my experience so that we all get better
