Visual art and the Internet I chose the field of visual art to show that the site I found is exploring the influence of new technology. The influence on the art of the artist is that spreading the medium in which they work freely, showing off their work all over the world, working with other artists, discovering new concepts with scientists make it possible. Artists are always looking for new things and different things. That is the best way to convey your idea. First of all, a little art history on this visual style and the subculture of the Internet. Aesthetics often called "aesthetics" is a visual art style whose popularity is rapidly increasing in the Internet community such as Tumblr, 4chan, Reddit since about 2010. As a trend in cross media art, visual styles are often associated with music movement. Vaporwave, an environment from the 1980s, a New Age style loop, and electronic music type with large sample of smooth jazz and synthetic music. Although the art style and the music type are technically different, it is easy to understand that these two actions mutually interact to produce a consistent art movement. In visual art, music, and other media, minimalism is an art movement started from Western art after World War II, the strongest being American visual art of the 1960s and early 1970s. Prominent artists related to minimalism are Donald Judd, John McKracken, Agnes Martin, Dan Flavin, Robert Morris, Antoito, Frank Stella. It arises from the recovery of modernism and is often interpreted as a bridge to reaction to abstract expressionism and minimal artistic practice.
