Virgina Woolf and Feminism

Virginia Woolf is often classified as an aesthetic writer. Most of her work is mainly based on the concept of advice. Wolf was strongly aware of the identity as a woman and used many works as a solution to frustration. According to her theory, women's conquest is the essential fact of history and the key to the majority of our social and psychological barriers (Marder 3). The two parts I focus on are "my room" and "society" on Monday or Tuesday.

In the years between the war, the feminist opposed the opposition against discrimination and established. In Woolf's "Own Room" of Virginia, Woolf explained about the degree of rebound and her frustration. So far, the term "feminism" is used, but it has a negative meaning from the mass media, which interferes with female self identity. Madness did not prevent Virginia Woolf from achieving great achievements including feminism. As one of the early feminists, Wolf's role in feminism is due to her relationship with others in her life. Wolf avoided the feminist group, but she strongly criticized the patriarchal social and political value system, especially the system related to women, and her novel played a part in her criticism. (Transue 2) Wolf felt her father was a tyrant, and she became "voice against male tyranny" (Bond 52). Her literature is to suppress women's voices. She opposed her father as well as his mother. She wants to devote her life to her needs, so she blames her father's mother for the death. In a speech about all women's graduation ceremonies, Virginia Woolf considers feminism from an economic point of view in her article "Beauty Myth". Wolf believes that women need money and economic independence of their own, but Wolf believes that the beauty industry has hindered women's independence. Through feminine exaggeration, traditional women's lives, obsession, and beautifully diverse reality, feminism theoretically binds women all over the world. They gather to protect their rights as equal people. For such a long time, men dominate women, overlook women, and regard them as smaller ones.
