For many years, it is well known that violent video games have a strong influence on infant's aggression and psychological behavior, and habitual playing of such games. There are many factors that the federal government has come to believe that the game industry and retailers have not taken sufficient precautions to prevent such problems. Laboratory and wilderness environment shows that violent video games can lead to increased attacks by children and adolescents.

For many players, the exposure of violent video games increases their violence; the cumulative effect of exposure to these realistic and disturbing graphics means that it is creating a more violent society is. Many recent games are designed to show the stereotypes of characters. For example, with regard to gender, male depictions have led many young people to learn from these violent games, but unfortunately they are carrying the wrong message. Men who are often drawn as large and aggressive characters have used gamers violence as a means of solving conflict, while problems and nonviolent solutions have been completely ignored. Conversely, watching or participating in violent video games may increase violence. Violence is more common in age groups that are actively involved in violent video games, or play an active role in the violent video game community.
