The Vindhyachal thermal power plant is located in the Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh province, India. As one of the ICPC coal-fired power plants, this is the largest power plant in India with a capacity of 4,760 MW. Coal from power plant comes from Nigahi mine supplied from the drainage of Singrauli super thermal power plant.

Power plants are also called power stations or power plants, sometimes called power plants or power plants, and are industrial facilities used for power generation. Most power plants contain one or more generators, rotating machines that convert mechanical forces into electrical energy. Relative motion between the magnetic field and the conductor generates current. The energy used to rotate the generator varies greatly. Most of the power plants in the world generate electricity by burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas. Some people use nuclear power, but more people use cleaner renewable energy such as the sun, wind power, hydropower, hydropower etc.

A nuclear power plant or nuclear power plant is a thermal power plant where the heat source is a nuclear reactor. Since it is a typical thermal power plant, heat is used to generate steam which drives a steam turbine connected to a generator that generates electricity. As of April 23, 2014, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported that 449 nuclear power plants are operating in 31 countries. Nuclear power plants are often considered to be basic loading stations. Because they can not be sent easily or quickly. Their operation and maintenance (O & M) and fuel costs, and hydropower plants are the lowest prices, making them suitable as baseload power suppliers. However, the cost of spent fuel management is somewhat uncertain
