Mana village is the last Indian village on the border between India and China. From Mana Village, the Indian border and China is only 24 km away. Mana has a small cave called Vyas Guha (Rishi Vyas), Maharshi Ved Vyas is thought to form Mahabharat in this cave. Alakunanda is one of the encounter sources of the Ganges and Saraswati rivers (can only be seen in mana) in Mana village.
