Views of the Natives Throughout Time

In this semester I read some interesting pieces. They may be written by different people at different points in history, and many of these stories share a common theme. Three of these stories are "Álvar Nunez Cabezade Vaca's Relationship" by Cabeza de Vaca, "Lady Mary Rosenson Impersonation and Recovery Story" by Mary Rowlandson, and Benjamin Franklin's "Comment on Savage." These stories share a common theme of the writer's experience and the Native American view.

Her book, "the story of the recovery and the captivity of Mary Mary Rowlandson", Laurent Son has written about how that has been captured by the native American in the war between the locals and the British settlers I will. At first she thought locals were "Rolandson," but her view began to change throughout the book. While being caught she kept moving forward using Puritan's faith. She changed this situation to the will of God, and said she reflected the Puritan religious beliefs rather than to attack others. Her view on the American Indians has changed even for unprecedented things among all the other British settlers. She started thinking that there was no big difference between civilization and barbarians. Because she saw similarities between her people and local people (and I liked some of them as well). She seems to have some kind of knowledge between herself and her religion.

In her story, Rowlandson maintained her and Puritan 's belief in the Native American' savage 'and early colonialists. The writer has structured her story into 20 "deleted people". This shows the number of times she moved with her prisoner from one place to another after she was caught by the family of Lancaster. The most obvious thing in Rowlandson's story is to allow her to spend her suffering and eventually to "testify" her and to unravel the mystery of the American people through her compatriots .

There were many incidents in history explaining why Hispanic and British settlers must exist to survive. Native American are like parents of Spanish and British settlers. As the newly born baby was introduced to the new world, Spanish and English were introduced to the new world and local people became a part of it. The lands where they live dates back thousands of years, and they live in all parts of the United States. When Europeans arrived, indigenous peoples gave settlers knowledge about the land. Indigenous people may take care of them and provide them with food and other things. They also offered work to settlers, regardless of whether they were slaves, servants or allies. Economically, indigenous people need what settlers export to Europe. Throughout history, the dependence of colonists on indigenous peoples is clearly shown!
