Death can claim people of all ages in their lives. If you are happy or sad, you do not mind death, but it brings what you want, you can not avoid it. Rather than being proud, death is one of the best poems of John Dunn, it is a sacred sonnet. It was written in 1610 and published in 1633. The title of this poem comes from the first line. Dawn emphasizes his Christian faith and refers to 1 Corinthians 15: 26 of the Bible, where Paul wrote that "the last destroyed enemy is death." Death is anthropomorphic and speakers advocate discussion; the focus of discussion is that death is not so powerful that we are forced to think. Eventually, death gives us the freedom to remove this secular sorrow, the way to eternal life. Death is just a reasonable sleep, and we get up on the day of judgment. From that day, there is no death. On that day, death died. Therefore, there is no reason to worry about death or death unless there is a logical reason for pride.

The beginning of this poem is like a speaker who makes fun of life and death, but there is a strong foundation in the middle. In other words, life is proud, death is not so. John Donne compares death as sleeping as simple and calm. There is nothing to be proud of, but life is proud. The beginning of this poem was very interesting at first, because it made me feel solemn. The basic theme of this poem is life is a question of pride, death is not a strong and proud, but a calm and helpless life. From this poem we can see that John Donne's view of life is strong, it shows that life is strong, and pride, death is not so.
