The Vietnam - Vietnamese research project was a conflict that was originally done by the French. They followed the "true manism" in this way, but until 1950 the war broke out again and the United States joined. In '54, Eisenhower proposed "domino theory" as a reason for participation. "When South Vietnam enters the Communist Party, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Pakistan will be like dominoes, Pacific islands and even Australia may be in danger," defeated in 1954 . Later, Vietnam was divided into two parts; the north was the Communist Party led by Ho Chi Minh and the South was a capitalist under the guidance of Ngo Dinh Diem.

North Vietnam is under the Communist Party regime, so South Vietnam does not. Ho Chi Minh, the leader of North Vietnam, hopes to spread Communism throughout Vietnam and unify North Vietnam and South Vietnam. South Vietnamese leaders oppose the expansion of communism. America stands on the side of South Vietnam and puts war on different levels (Hagopian 73). Therefore, there are three main reasons for the Vietnam War. The Vietnam War had a major impact on the lives of Americans, including all fields of public and private life. As a result of the military conflict, the foreign policy of the United States changed greatly. The United States is considered to be the world's most powerful superpower, but the president's decision to settle the conflict in Vietnam will have some negative impact.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, the Veterans History Project highlights the collection collection from this age. They are just a part of the "Millions of Vietnam War" embodied in the veteran story of the Vietnam War. These interviews represent various branches, service locations, and military roles and generally indicate the dramatic and ongoing impact of war on participants. See also:
