A group of German researchers studied at a central German school. In this survey, 3% of students met video game poisoning standards, but 65% were considered to be in danger (Vitelli). This is a very wonderful figure. Nearly 4% of these students meet the criteria of video game poisoning or there is a danger of intoxication. Video game poisoning is not so myth as some people think, it is true. The ninth grade boy plays an average 220 minutes video game (Vitelli) every day.

The decision to study video game development is a common choice for international students coming to the United States. Many people prefer to play video games, and more and more international students have decided to change them into a video game career with their enthusiasm for video games. In addition to being a dream job for many gamers there are many reasons to decide to learn the development of video games. This field offers diverse employment opportunities, a comfortable and enjoyable work environment, a high salary, and the ability to prosper in creative freedom. Video game publishers are companies that publish video games they developed internally or developed by external video game developers. Like book publishers and DVD film distributors, video game publishers are responsible for the manufacture and sale of their products, including market research and advertisements. They generally finance development by paying internal staff, sometimes called studio developers, sometimes by paying for video game developers (publishers call it it external development), and sometimes studio developers doing. Therefore, they usually also have IP of the game. Publishers of large video games also distribute their games and small publishers hire delivery companies (or massive video game publishers) to deliver their games.

Video game development is the process of creating video games. This work is done by game developers. Game developers range from one person to an international team all over the world. Traditional commercial PCs and console games are often funded by publishers and can take several years to complete. Indie games take less time and individuals and smaller developers can produce at lower cost. With the growth of new online distribution systems (such as Steam and Uplay) and the mobile game market (such as Android and iOS devices), the independent game industry has grown significantly in recent years.
