In April 2018, Lizzy Martinez, a third-year high school student, declined from school because he was not wearing a bra to attend school. On the weekend, Martinez got tanned and the location of the burn made the bra particularly painful and unpleasant. Therefore she gave up on the bra and chose to wear a dark loose shirt. Soon after the school began, the two school administrators pulled Martinez out of the classroom and asked why she was not wearing a brassiere. They have not seen such signs, but a male student told her she was seeing her laugh. The manager asked Martinez to wear a sweatshirt, tie her nipples and probably "walk around" to see if their handicrafts hid her breasts. In this experience, Martinez expressed her feelings as "尴尬 and anger" and she finally shouted to a friend in the bathroom

According to Vox, Lizzy Martinez quit school at a high school in Florida because of a loose shirt. Because of sunburn, Martinez chose not to wear a bra in school that day. She told the nurse why she was asked to put a band aid on her nipple part. Martinez posted this incident on Twitter and her mother went home after the previous embarrassment to support her. According to insiders, Maryland students wearing torn jeans classes are said to be accustomed to delivering patches showing her feet. The students were in junior high school, and her mother, Nicole Williams, felt that the school should call her and ask her to change clothes. After the incident pulled attention to the media, the school's interim principal apologized for the way to deal with that problem.
