Varnish

The finished oil paint is usually coated with a layer of varnish to protect it from the atmosphere, mild scratches, harmful dirt. Experts can safely remove films using isopropyl alcohol and other common solvents. Polish also gives a uniform gloss to the surface and gives a depth of strength and color intensity at the level originally created by a wet paint artist. Dammar is sap from Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra. Varnish keeps colorless appearance longer than other common varnish. It usually consists of a single resin or synthetic type like Dammar. Dharma contains a lot of potatoes and mineral spirits. In other words, it will not form a thick layer like an ordinary varnish, so it will be used to make the paint appear to be completely wet on the dry floor before painting resumes.
