According to my travel guide, Albania is ranked fourth in 10 places worth visiting Eastern Europe. In this Mediterranean country, people can spend three different holidays. It is winter, summer, and culture. The Albanian Alps is an ideal place for winter holidays. They are located in northern Albania, where visitors discover wonderful mountains, landscapes with isolated valleys, ancient traditions. The Valbona valley is the first beautiful landscape you should visit. As you walk down this valley you will hear snoring of water strongly.
Historic fans who have never visited places where Greeks emigrated in the 6 th century BC have been registered as UNESCO World Heritage sites due to the old history of the Ottoman Empire and Venice. You can visit the ancient Acropolis ruins, an impressive old theater, a public bath, a 6th century baptistery with a mosaic. The site is part of the Butrint National Park and contains important wetlands internationally. Easy access to the surrounding natural environment and Saranda beach town means that this site provides something for visitors of all ages and interests.
Albania is the cheapest option if you want to go to the beach, drink cocktails and cold bears, enjoy water sports or a cold seaside atmosphere and have a holiday. The most organized seaside town in Albania is located at Sarande, the country's lowest level. Taxis can not exceed 5-7 euros. You visit some of the restaurants overlooking the sea and you can see the scenery of Corfu Island in Greece at most 15 euros. It is also easy to stroll around this nearby historical sights such as Butrint and a somewhat calm beach such as Ksamil.
Albania does not care. South Albania has all the beautiful resorts, but there is no airport. To explore the beautiful Riviera, you must fly to Tirana, the capital, and get on a 3 hour bus to go to the place where the Riviera is getting better (Vlorë). Another option I did was to go to Corfu island in Greece and go by ferry for 40 minutes to Saranda, the largest resort of Albania's southernmost town. Obviously, entering Albania itself is achievement, which is why you pass the less Western tourists on the street.
