The war in the archipelago brought immigrants to Asia to America - Vietnam, Korea, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Japan, China and so on.

I grew up in New Jersey and I am called the overweight and Asian. Prejudice and racial discrimination always exists. The problem is that I accepted it. I accepted the reality. I do not want to become an Asian American. I do not want to accept my identity as a Korean-American. I want to be a Caucasian. I am Asian, so I feel inferior.
