The missing figures are groundbreaking activities that use geographic data to prevent and reduce natural disasters. However, the flow of technology, such as the difficulty of obtaining appropriate raw data, the lack of an effective graphical user interface, the complexity of the predictive model, and the cost of digitization, are still hindered by many problems Carrara et al., 1999).
EM-DAT is a summary of data on natural disasters and technical disasters. It collects not only geographical and temporal information but also data on the impact of disasters on people and the economy. After estimating the economic loss caused by the disaster, the number of deaths and deaths of the injured or injured are provided. Obviously, it is sometimes difficult to obtain reliable data, particularly in countries where the resources required to gather data are insufficient. This weakness of EM-DAT is also seen in the absence of data on specific disaster situations in the database, but this can also be seen in some cases in this project. In order to offset these issues, consider information from UN agencies, governments, and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Federation (CRED 2017b)
In this article, I will explain the natural disaster in Vietnam and the damage caused by the disaster. The geographical location and topographical conditions of Vietnam have produced special features that led to serious diversified disasters. Natural disasters occur almost every year in Vietnam. There is a typical disaster every season, each region has special features. Vietnam is suffering from various disasters such as floods, storms, tropical cyclones, storm surges, floods, cyclones, flash floods, river and coastline erosion, hail, drought, landslides and forest fires. During the past 10 years (1997-2006), natural disasters such as typhoons, floods, droughts, etc. caused a major loss such as over 5,000 missing people and dead, asset loss equivalent to 1% of GDP It was. Natural disasters in Vietnam are getting worse in terms of size, frequency, and volatility.
Because of climate, diversity of geographical and natural resources, high population density, poverty, the frequency of disasters is high and exerts a big influence. The deterioration of the environment, climate change and placement of the land at the limit makes the people more vulnerable to natural disasters. The A-P area is affected by almost all natural disasters. In addition, it is becoming increasingly vulnerable to human disasters such as war, civil war, economic crisis, looting of natural resources. In case of natural disasters and human-induced disasters, it is necessary to establish domestic geographic information system, weather forecast, connectivity to regional and world weather data, and appropriate preparation of forecast.
