Urban Education Issues

Education is an integral part of society and schools help children teach social norms and teach ways to become adults. However, the school system in America failed. Worldwide, the United States is behind other countries in important mathematics and reading performance. The United States is 30th in world mathematics and 20th in literacy rate. This is especially true in the United States where the situation is more favorable in socioeconomic areas.
