Wal-Mart e-commerce women's technical activities: Wal-Mart e-commerce occasionally hosts technical events and plans to host future events for technical women in August 2015. "Master career in technology" event will be held in Sunnyvale. So speakers and panelists will be invited to discuss things like asking women for confidence and negotiating what they want. WEPAN: The Engineering Women's Active Network (WEPAN) is a nationwide non-profit organization with more than 700 members from engineering colleges, small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and non-profit organizations. They are trying to change the culture of engineering education to attract, maintain and nurture women. They offer access to expert networks through professional development webinars, university courses, and members (for a fee).
