A sweet shop for a joint student's sweat shop is a problem in today's society, but its existence tends to be overlooked in general. A prominent author Berry states as follows. "Most people can get everything they need by purchasing, most people vaguely know where they came from. What is the damage to participating in their production? ? We are almost entirely dependent on an almost completely ignorant economy. "
United student vs. sweat shop (USAS) is a unique anti-sweat shop group aiming to show influence. USAS is an international student movement for campus and individual students and has difficulty working conditions and workers sweaters right (United 1). Members participate in the Board of Education and negotiate with management to ensure that products at their university are not produced at exploitation plants. They also organize meetings to educate their communities and to inform the public better about unjust labor. USAS supports the living wages of workers, public disclosure of factory name and location, independent supervision, women's rights, and the Fair Labor Association (Student 1). The number of students participating in USAS is continuing to increase
The anti-sweet shop campaign respects the students who participate in the anti-sweet shop campaign, and the employees who respect the employees who are instructing the school to do business with the company. At the university, schools first began using only companies that disclosed their names and locations, and then activists asked universities to participate in WRC's "Independent Regulation Act" (Workers' Rights Union) Esbenshade 2008: 459). Students are putting pressure on the university to participate in the designated supplier program, which requires manufacturers to grant special permission for use of factory equipment (Esbenshade 2008: 459). Responsible worker's rights are not respected and may be revealed (Esbenshade 2008: 459)
