United States and Kenya Relations

Summary of relations between the US and Kenya The US government and Kenya have established relationships including foreign investment and foreign policy. Kenya is a major country in East Africa or sub-Saharan Africa, and Kenya has a history of international terrorist attacks, particularly at the Kenya - Somali border, but Kenya is resilient and stable. Kenya is receiving assistance from donor countries such as the United States to tackle risk reduction such as economic instability and endemic diseases such as HIV, malaria, famine etc.
