The earliest forms of civilization are said to be in the Mesopotamian Tigris - Euphrati River, the Ancient Egyptian Nile River, and the ancient valleys of the Ancient Indian and Chinese Yellow River and the Indus River. There are many differences between the three river valley civilizations, but there is still a general way of life. Civilizations are on different continents, but social, political and economic beliefs are similar in terms of intellectual development, government type, religious beliefs, and trading systems.

Many great civilizations have formed on the banks of these holy rivers.
