The definition is ambiguous and contains many gaps, but the purpose of the definition seems to be to make it more versatile so that it can be applied more widely to various situations of human trafficking . However, the authors think that this ambiguity and extent may be counterproductive, because the definition can be interpreted in many different ways. However, there are some trafficking problems in this area. For clarity, the geographic area mentioned in this article, the Middle East extends to the west of Mauritania, to the south of Sudan, to Oman, and to the north of Syria most. This area is also called MENA (Middle East and North Africa), but in this article we call it the Middle East. Defining the differences and inaccurate information in the Middle East can disappoint you in finding facts and information about trafficking in that area. This difficulty is especially serious, depending on laws and culture in the Middle East, because we do not recognize that trafficking in a particular form is actually human trafficking. Therefore, victims of human trafficking are often not protected in the Middle East.

This document does not mention the Middle East in particular, but we are dealing with many of the known problems of trafficking in the Middle East and suggesting ways to deal with them. Some examples are non-criminalization of victims of trafficking, repatriation of victims, evaluation of specific trafficking problems in each state.
