In particular, the treatment of solid waste in urban areas has brought many years of ecological problems to the earth. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the amount of waste from families, companies, local governments to local landfills in 1988 was 163 million tons, about 40 pounds per person. These figures do not include additional solid waste from mining, industrial production and agriculture. Despite obvious municipal waste issues, other types of waste disposal methods are more destructive.

Solid waste is another cause of water pollution. According to the US Resource Protection Recovery Act, solid waste includes home garbage and commercial garbage collected by cities in a particular region. Solid waste is a big problem for Faisalaard. Therefore, water is contaminated by various harmful substances. When people drink this water, it may take a lot of diseases. Therefore, solid waste in many cities around the world is destroying the water quality.
