Note: If there is a change to disciplinary action and / or criminal record before starting class, please immediately notify the undergraduate admission office. Failure to report previous or pending disciplinary and / or criminal records may result in cancellation of application or cancellation of approval. This section shows the school you are applying for. After that, you will be urged to indicate your anticipated research plans and areas of interest. You can also indicate that you are applying for a double degree program. If you apply for LSA, you are asked if you intend to apply for priority admission, and if so, whether you would like to apply for school. If you apply for SMTD, you will not be asked to acquire areas of interest but you will be asked if you applied for more than one course in the school.

New undergraduate students: If this is the first semester of the University of California at Berkeley, please contact the undergraduate admissions office before unregistering to see if registration can be canceled. If you cancel the registration, you will need to submit a new application form for enrolling in the next semester. If you are an international student (using F - 1 visa or J - 1 visa) this procedure is consistent with withdrawal from school. It also helps to determine whether the withdrawal will damage your immigration status and permission in the US.
