The latest lyric title of Ritter has the possibility to make his fans mislead at the previous book "Boy Saving Baseball". The theme here is actually music, and the hero is a 16 year old skateboarder named Andy Ramos who fell in love with Softball pitcher. What this work shares with the boy is a real scene full of fable. This time Ritter repeated the legend of the blues musician who sold his soul to the devil in exchange for the star. Being the world's top trumpet player is what Andy did at the beginning of the summer, and he devotes himself to his musical career every day. After that, his childhood nemesis Glory Martinez returned to Ocean Beach. I have a ball of evil curves right now, beyond her own dream. The two soon realized that everyone's performance was the best, and this caused problems when the schedules of various concerts collided with the schedule of the tournament. A strange black stranger also appeared that understood Andy 's dream well, talked in the riddle, and Andy' s promise too much. A Ritter conversation and a sophisticated California style rhythm resonates, and Andy's enthusiasm and ambition fills the novel with heartbeat. I learned that "song journey" to "reach the audience," but such a solid performance may not be attractive to Boy's favorite readers, but it is necessary to introduce Ritter to new audiences there is. It is romantic. I am 11 years old. (May)
I did not like this book so much and I was not as surprised as the book I wrote under the baseball moon. You start thinking this is the story of sports, and you understand that this is the story of a musician, and you see it really is mixed together, and there are more. Just to the point that this book has become my favorite book, I am struggling to understand it. It is humorous and mysterious, there are the most amazing plots you really like and many funny characters. You are confused by the strange thing that happens to Andy and Glory. They will be like your best friend. As long as you do not have to keep reading books, I will not destroy it for you, as the end will affect you. I hope they can make movies very quickly from this book, so I can see what is going on in real life. With such a good book, I will say 10 stars!
