In conventional ultrasound nondestructive condition monitoring, testers use his test experience to interpret defects while analyzing ultrasound echoes. Due to the coarse structure of the material, the ultrasonic attenuation is more, so sometimes the false impression of the defect is given and unreliable results are given. Conventional detection methods are too subjective and depend on the effectiveness of testers so reliability of detection is low. In order to overcome these restrictions, this paper proposed a correlation between multi-question ultrasonic technology, material characteristics, attenuation, sound speed and particle size.
