UK’s Open University team visits AIOU

The two delegates of the world's first open university (OU) founded in the UK in 1969 are invited to share their expertise and experience to promote accessible high-quality education Ala Mic Val opening I visited a university (AIOU).

This visit was organized by the British Council of Islamabad in order to help AIOU implement integration plans, improve the ranking of studies, and provide the best possible service to students.

During the 5-day visit, the delegation will hold a "Scope Study" to understand the work of AIOU and propose ways and means of further improvement. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui praised the UK open university which contributed to the establishment of AIOU in early 1974.
