U.S. Constitution - Amendment 1

Congress shall not enact legislation on banning religious beliefs and free exercise, loss of freedom of speech and freedom of press, or the rights of people to peaceful gatherings and the right to seek relief from the government.

In the United States, due to the first revision of the US Constitution, American citizens are entitled to a peaceful gathering and urge the government to rectify their dissatisfaction. Most notably, Fix 1 is well known and is often said to give freedom of speech. Even before the approval of the amendment, Americans protested like the Boston Tea ceremony. Protest was always a way to influence the change of the United States. One question to ask is as follows. Is there a right way to protest and a wrong way? Other protests that influenced the United States since the amendment was approved were protests against war such as Vietnam, Desert Shield / Desert Storm, Civil Rights Movement, and recent democratic movement.

The first revision of the US Constitution will protect the freedom of speech, religion, and press. It also protects the right to peaceful protests and petitions the government. This amendment was passed in 1791 with the other nine fixes. These amendments constitute a written document protecting the civil liberties under the Bill of Rights - US law. Over the years, the meaning of the first amendment has been ongoing interpretation and controversy. The groundbreaking case of the Supreme Court involves protesting the right for the United States to be involved in the external war, burning the flag and publishing confidential documents
