Types of melanoma

Superficial melanoma is the most common type. It is more common in the arms, legs, chest and back. Melanoma cells usually grow slowly initially and spread to the surface of the skin.

Nodular melanoma is the second most common type. It grows faster than other melanomas. When growing, the color easily falls, it turns into red instead of black. It is more common with chest, back, head or neck

Malignant melanoma (Lentigo maligna melanoma) is less common. It is usually seen in the elderly and has been exposed to the sun's skin area for many years. It is often seen on the face and neck. It develops from a slow growing premalignant condition called lentigo maligna or Hutchinson freckles. This looks like dirty skin. Compared with other types of melanoma, they usually grow slowly and are less dangerous.

Lenticular melanoma at the tip is a rare type. It is usually present in the palm, legs, nails, or toenails of the toes. It is more common in people with black or brown skin. It is considered to be unrelated to sunlight

In rare cases, melanoma may occur from the body part outside the skin. It can begin with eyes (melanoma of the eye). Alternatively, you can start with tissues that are aligned in the body, such as the anus and rectum (anorectal melanoma), nose, mouth, lungs and other parts. There are four different melanomas. The first is surface-spreading melanoma, which is the most common type, usually a flat and irregular shape, black or brown in color, commonly found in Caucasians. This type of melanoma can occur in people of all sizes or of any age. The second type of melanoma is a nodular melanoma with a deep or dark dark pigment in a specific area, but some people have no color or appearance on the skin. The fourth type of melanoma is curved melanoma, a rare, melanoma that can be seen under the palm and nails. This type of melanoma is very common for African American or black people.

Melanoma has four basic types. They are as follows: surface diffusing melanoma. This is the most common type; approximately 70% of all melanoma patients have this type. This type does not penetrate deep into the skin until walking over the top layer of the skin for a considerable amount of time. Skin cancer can be divided into two types: non-melanoma or melanoma. Non-melanoma skin cancer is the most common type of skin cancer that occurs from squamous epithelial cells and basal cells.
