Chemical reactions occur at the molecular level, and when you start things (reactants), atoms and molecules become new ones (products). All chemical reactions are generally divided into six categories.
Each reaction has unique characteristics. According to some criteria, you should be able to decide which response has happened
Two things always concern the combustion reaction. It is oxygen as reactant and energy as product (in the form of heat). In most cases, these products include carbon dioxide (CO 2) and water (H 2 0). Since these reactions usually involve burns and explosions, it looks cool as shown on the right side.
The synthesis reaction is when two (or more) single element molecules combine to form one macromolecule. This is contrary to the decomposition reaction
The silver spoon is discolored. Silver reacts with sulfur in the air to form silver sulfide. This is called black matter.
The decomposition reaction refers to the decomposition or decomposition of macromolecules into many parts. This occurs through natural processes (such as natural fermentation and nuclear half-life), or with the aid of catalysts.
Fermentation - Glucose (monosaccharide) is fermented to ethanol and carbon dioxide. Grape sugar is fermented from cereals (using yeast as a catalyst) to make alcohol and carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is gas from beer or champagne.
Displacement reactions can be seen as people present at the party. One replacement reaction is like a man and a woman coming to the party.
Double displacement reactions are like "shaking" parties. Two pairs of elements come to a party associated with each other, but eventually they end up in the other pair
Acid-base reaction is a special type of double substitution reaction where water is usually produced
CH 3 COOH + NaHCO 3 -> H 2 O + NaOCOCH 3 + CO 2 (because it contains water and carbon dioxide as product, it looks like a combustion reaction but no heat)
In order to solve this problem, I created a convenient flowchart of Playboy below. I did it myself, regardless of whatever purpose you choose, I will allow anyone to use it.
There are hundreds or even thousands of chemical reactions! If you are asked to list top 4, 5 or 6 chemical reactions, classify them as follows. The main four reaction types are direct binding, analytical reaction, unit shift and double substitution. If asked about the five main reaction types, these four reactions are followed by an acid-base reaction or a redox reaction (depending on requirements). Remember that certain chemical reactions may belong to multiple categories
Redox (redox) reaction is a chemical reaction involving electron transfer between two substances. A redox reaction is any chemical reaction that changes the oxidation number of a molecule, atom or ion by acquiring or losing an electron. Redox reactions are common and essential for some basic functions of life, including photosynthesis, respiration, burning, corrosion or rust. When the oxidation number of the atom increases, the atom is oxidized, and when the oxidation number decreases, the reducing agent reduces the atom, that is, the oxidizing agent. The oxidized atom is the reducing agent and the reduced atom is the oxidizing agent. (Note: oxidizing agent and reducing agent can be the same element or compound)
