Twenty Years of Democracy and Challenges

Democracy was incorporated into the South African government in the 1994 election. For those who believe in liberal democracy it is unexpected to look back on the events of the past quarter century. Twenty five years ago, liberal democracy was in progress. This summer 25 years ago, Francis Fukuyama announced "the end of history" and the inevitable victory of liberalism capitalist democracy. His argument is simple.
