Yahagi is painted by Hiroaki Murakami in the 1993 television series "Tokugawa literary town". : Yagyū JūbeinanabanshōbuSaige has no Tatakai in 2005 TV series YagyūJūbeinanabanshōbuSaige. Director and writer Yoshiaki Kawashiri created the main character of a very popular animated film "Ninja Scroll", Kinjinjinbei, to show respect for YagyūJūbei. He is spoken by Japanese voice actor, Koichi Yamadera. There is also a sequel to this movie, "Ninja Scrolls: Series". This includes repeating characters named Yagyu Renya, a one-eye swordsman from Mr. Yagyū.
This collection is well received by critics and the general public. The 2005 TV / TV Fast Awards were awarded to Ecclestone's Best Actor Award and Doctor Who nominated for Best Series Award. In the UK National Television Awards ceremony announced on October 25, 2005, Ecclestone, Piper and Dr. Fu won their respective categories. It is not as famous as the British Television Academy Awards (BAFTA), but they are the most watched TV awards in the UK. The public member series received two BAFTA awards including the Best Drama Series Award in May.
In June 2005, a series of nine comic limited editions were created by Mike Carey (Vertigo comic series Lucifer) and Glenn Fabry 's work. Manga is not from a novel, it is adopted from the original TV series, but the dialogue and plot of a novel are the same except for some scenes depending on the location. In April 2010, the novel was adapted by Robert Cowes Lalique and was performed at the Lifeline theater in Chicago directed by Paul S. Holmquest. The show is a commercial and critical success and the staged reading drama with the original actor was later included in One Book, One Chicago Celebration of the Chicago Public Library in 2011
